Gateway to Voyageurs National Park

clvoyageur.jpg (62596 bytes)Crane Lake is where the road ends in northern Minnesota and one of the nation's most beautiful and intriguing natural recreation and historic areas begins.

The Crane Lake area is the southern gateway to Voyageurs National Park with access to Sand Point,
Namakan, Kabetogama, Rainy Lakes and Lac La Croix plus the BWCA and Ontario's Quetico Provincial Park.
You will have literally millions of acres of northern Minnesota and southern Ontario at your doorstep!

The Crane Lake community is comprised of resorts, restaurants, shops, marinas, outfitters and houseboat rentals with golfing nearby.  It also is an active sea-plane base and offers an American Customs
& Immigration office.

This is a four-season recreation area.  It's a bird and wildlife-watching haven with breathtaking scenery in all of the seasons. The miles and miles of lakes and waterways offer world-class fishing from May-October then freeze over to welcome some of the best ice fishing around!  Snowmobiling is a popular winter pastime with access to many miles of trails in both Minnesota and Ontario. Cross-country skiers and snowshoe enthusiasts may enjoy the solitude of the back country and wilderness areas.
